Job Role: Transportation Manager
Experience - 2-4 years
Location - New Delhi
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement transportation strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Manage daily transportation operations, including scheduling, routing, and dispatching.
Oversee the selection and management of transportation vendors and carriers.
Monitor and analyze transportation metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
Collaborate with other departments, such as warehousing and inventory management, to ensure seamless operations.
Lead and mentor the transportation team, providing training and support as needed.
Prepare and manage the transportation budget, ensuring cost control and efficiency.
Negotiate contracts and rates with carriers and service providers.
Implement safety protocols and ensure adherence to safety regulations.
