Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Software Tester with strong experience in automation and performance testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building test frameworks, executing functional and non-functional tests, and contributing to the overall software quality strategy within a microservices-based architecture. This is a hybrid role based in Gurgaon/Bangalore with 3 days working from the office.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain functional regression suites using Selenium, Robot Framework, or Cucumber

Design and execute performance, load, and stress tests using tools like JMeter, Gatling, or Locust

Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab CI

Use Docker and Kubernetes to create, manage, and maintain isolated test environments

Capture and analyze network traffic using Wireshark to identify protocol-level issues

Create and maintain test plans, traceability matrices, and defect reports

Lead and drive bug triage with cross-functional teams

Collaborate with developers to promote shift-left testing, including unit/contract test coverage

Monitor production metrics to refine and optimize test coverage post-deployment

Must-Have Skills:
Strong experience in test automation with Selenium WebDriver, Robot Framework, or Cucumber

Hands-on scripting skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript

Proven expertise in performance testing with actionable tuning insights

Proficiency in working with Docker and Kubernetes in testing environments

Network debugging skills using Wireshark

Good understanding of HTTP, WebSocket, and microservice architectures

Familiarity with test management tools and Jira for defect tracking and reporting

Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (preferred)
