Job Description: As a Waiter at Hotel you will play a key role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for providing attentive and personalized service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables.
Present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations regarding food and beverages.
Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
Serve food and drinks promptly and accurately, following established service standards.
Anticipate guests' needs and respond promptly to requests or inquiries.
Monitor and maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the dining area and work stations.
Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth service flow.
Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and escalate issues as needed.
Process guest payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and electronic transactions.
Assist with setting up and breaking down tables, as well as other side duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a waiter or server in a restaurant or hotel setting preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
Strong customer service orientation and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Knowledge of food and beverage items, menu items, and wine service preferred.
Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
