Job Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence.
Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and mentor the sales team to foster a high-performance culture and drive individual and team excellence.
Sales Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of sales operations, including pipeline management, forecasting, and sales reporting.
Key Account Management: Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts, identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive threats, and new business opportunities, and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Sales Process Optimization: Continuously improve sales processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Performance Tracking and Reporting: Establish KPIs for the sales team, track performance metrics, and provide regular reports to senior management on sales performance, trends, and forecasts.
Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, product management, and other departments to align sales initiatives with overall business objectives.
Budget Management: Manage the sales budget effectively, optimize resource allocation, and ensure ROI on sales investments.
Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers, address their needs and concerns, and ensure exceptional customer service.
Sales Training and Development: Develop training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team, and ensure they are equipped to achieve their targets.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all sales activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA or equivalent qualification preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales leadership roles, preferably in [industry/sector].
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
