Job Description:

Service Management: The IT Service Delivery Manager is responsible for ensuring that IT services meet the needs of the business and its clients. This involves developing and implementing service strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.

Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients is crucial. The Service Delivery Manager acts as the main point of contact for clients, understanding their requirements, addressing concerns, and ensuring that service level agreements (SLAs) are met or exceeded.

Team Leadership and Management: Leading a team of IT professionals, the Service Delivery Manager oversees their day-to-day activities, sets performance objectives, and provides guidance and support to ensure that service delivery goals are achieved.

Performance Reporting: Continuously monitoring and evaluating IT services to identify areas for improvement is essential. The Service Delivery Manager works closely with teams to implement process improvements, streamline workflows, and enhance service quality.

Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating risks that could impact service delivery is another key responsibility. This includes developing contingency plans, managing service disruptions, and ensuring business continuity.

Financial Management: Managing the budget for IT services is crucial. The Service Delivery Manager is responsible for allocating resources effectively, controlling costs, and providing regular financial reports to stakeholders.

Performance Reporting: Providing regular reports on service performance metrics is important for transparency and accountability. The Service Delivery Manager tracks key performance indicators (KPIs), analyzes trends, and communicates findings to stakeholders.
