Title - IT Operations Manager

Exp = 3 - 8 years

Location - Delhi 

Job Summary: The IT Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the organization's IT infrastructure and systems. This includes managing the operation, maintenance, and security of hardware, software, networks, and related technologies. The IT Operations Manager leads a team of IT professionals, coordinates with other departments, and implements best practices to optimize IT operations and support the overall goals of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

IT Infrastructure Management:

  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of servers, storage systems, network devices, and other IT infrastructure components.
  • Ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of IT systems to meet business requirements.
  • Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades, expansions, and migrations as needed.

Systems Administration:

  • Manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems, software applications, and database systems.
  • Implement security measures to protect systems from unauthorized access, malware, and other threats.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance and uptime.

Network Management:

  • Maintain and administer the organization's network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
  • Configure network settings, protocols, and security policies to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Monitor network traffic, identify potential vulnerabilities, and implement corrective actions.

IT Service Desk Management:

  • Supervise the IT service desk team responsible for providing technical support to end-users.
  • Ensure timely resolution of support tickets, incidents, and service requests in accordance with established SLAs.
  • Implement service desk procedures, workflows, and tools to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.

IT Security and Compliance:

  • Implement and enforce security policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard IT assets and data.
  • Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities and compliance gaps.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address security risks and ensure regulatory compliance.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Recruit, train, and mentor IT staff to build a high-performing and cohesive team.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, set goals, and provide feedback to promote professional growth and development.

Vendor Management:

  • Evaluate and select vendors, contractors, and service providers for IT products and services.
  • Negotiate contracts, service level agreements, and pricing terms to achieve cost-effective solutions.
  • Monitor vendor performance and manage relationships to ensure quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.
