Job Description:
Role Overview: The IT Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact for existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and fostering long-term relationships. This role involves understanding clients' business objectives, coordinating with internal teams to deliver solutions, and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling IT products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, acting as their trusted advisor within the organization.
- Understand clients' business objectives, challenges, and priorities to provide relevant IT solutions and services.
- Regularly engage with clients through meetings, calls, and emails to address inquiries, provide updates, and gather feedback.
- Serve as a liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure the timely delivery of services and resolution of any issues.
Account Growth and Retention:
- Identify opportunities to expand the scope of services offered to existing clients based on their evolving needs and objectives.
- Collaborate with internal sales and technical teams to develop proposals and presentations for upselling or cross-selling IT solutions.
- Monitor client satisfaction and proactively address any concerns or issues to ensure retention and loyalty.
- Develop and execute account plans to achieve growth targets and maximize revenue from existing clients.
Strategic Planning:
- Analyze market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for account growth.
- Work closely with clients to understand their long-term strategic goals and align IT solutions to support their objectives.
- Provide insights and recommendations to clients on emerging technologies and best practices to enhance their business operations.
Contract Management:
- Manage contract renewals and negotiations with existing clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for both parties.
- Coordinate with legal and finance teams to review and finalize contracts, amendments, and service level agreements.
- Maintain accurate records of client contracts, agreements, and communication for reference and reporting purposes.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, technical support, and project management, to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients.
- Communicate client requirements, expectations, and feedback to internal stakeholders to facilitate alignment and proactive response.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members, sharing insights and best practices for account management.
