Duties and responsibilities:

Change Management Process: Develop and maintain a structured change management process that adheres to industry best practices and organizational policies. This includes defining change categories, roles and responsibilities, change request procedures, and approval workflows.

Change Planning: Work closely with IT teams, stakeholders, and business units to assess the impact of proposed changes and develop comprehensive change plans. This involves identifying potential risks, dependencies, and resource requirements, as well as establishing timelines and communication strategies.

Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct risk assessments to identify potential impacts of changes on IT services, infrastructure, and business operations. Develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure business continuity.

Change Evaluation: Review proposed changes to assess their feasibility, alignment with business objectives, and potential benefits. Evaluate the technical and operational implications of changes and provide recommendations for approval or modification.

Coordination and Communication: Facilitate communication and collaboration between different IT teams, stakeholders, and business units involved in the change process. Ensure that relevant parties are informed about upcoming changes, their impact, and any actions required on their part.

Testing and Validation: Oversee the testing and validation of changes to ensure they meet quality standards and functional requirements. Coordinate test plans, procedures, and resources, and ensure that testing results are documented and analyzed.

Change Implementation: Coordinate the implementation of approved changes, including scheduling activities, allocating resources, and monitoring progress. Ensure that changes are deployed according to plan and that any issues or deviations are promptly addressed.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all changes, including change requests, approvals, implementation activities, and outcomes. Generate reports and metrics to track the effectiveness of the change management process and identify areas for improvement.

Continuous Improvement: Regularly review and refine the change management process to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and streamlining of change-related activities.

Training and Awareness: Provide training and guidance to IT staff, stakeholders, and end users on change management principles, procedures, and tools. Foster a culture of change readiness and encourage proactive engagement in the change process
