Monday-Saturday working (10-6:30), 2 alternate Saturdays would be off 

Overview: We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team, specializing in B2B government sales and tender processes for IT projects, particularly focusing on selling printers and print solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales, a deep understanding of government procurement procedures, and the ability to navigate complex sales cycles within the IT sector. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Business Development: 

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the B2B government sector, particularly focusing on IT projects related to printers and print solutions. 

Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in government agencies. 

Generate leads through proactive prospecting, networking, and market research. 

Tender Management: 

Monitor and track government tender opportunities relevant to IT projects and printing solutions. 

Prepare and submit tender proposals in compliance with government procurement guidelines and requirements. 

Collaborate with internal teams to develop competitive bids and pricing strategies. 

Sales Cycle Management: 

Manage the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure. 

Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of our printing solutions. 

   Address customer inquiries and provide pre-sales and post-sales support as needed. 

Relationship Building: 

Cultivate long-term relationships with clients and partners to foster repeat business and referrals. 

Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions. 

Market Intelligence: 

Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and government regulations affecting the IT and printing sectors. 

Analyse market data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product enhancement and market expansion. 

Qualifications: 

Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field. 

2-5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the IT sector with a focus on government sales and tender processes. 

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. 

Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. 

Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software. 

Willingness to travel as required.
