Job Description for Server Administrator:

Job Brief:

We are looking for a Server Administrator.

Designation: Server Administrator

Experience: 4 to 5 Years of experience 

Education: BE/ B. Tech in Computer Science/IT/Computer Engineering or MCA or equivalent

Skills:

• Deep knowledge of Windows Server and related technologies
• Installation of Operating System Patches and fixes
• Good knowledge of Windows infrastructure technologies (AD, DFS, Clustering, IIS, MSSQL)
• Knowledge of monitoring tools like New Relic, Kibana, NXLog - CE, NS Client ++
• Experience with SCCM and image/WIM creation
• Experience with server hardware, Dell, HP and IBM
• Management of Active Directory, DNS, WINS, LYNC etc
• Experience with container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, OpenStack
• Working knowledge on at least one Backup management tool like Symantec, TSM etc.
• Experience designing and managing Hyper-V (or VMWare ESX) and related management infrastructure
• Various virtualizations and public clouds (Azure, AWS).

Skills Desired -

 

• Working knowledge of network device management, i.e. switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers
• Knowledge of common IT processes, including ITIL and SDLC is an added advantage.
• Experience with non-Windows infrastructure products, OpenLDAP and Apache server
• Understanding Linux Essential is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication and written skills - Experience creating detailed technical architecture blueprints
• Strong troubleshooting experience
