Qualification: Degree in Law (Regular) preferably from National Law School
Experience: Minimum three years in experience in handling legal matters preferably in Govt. organizations/PSU etc.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Legal Management
- Review and provide legal advice on MOUs, Contracts, and tender documents.
- Review ongoing cases and advice managem ent accordingly.
- Liaise with relevant departments to ensure that where legal risks have been identified, appropriate courses of action have been taken.
- Provide legal protection and risk management advice to management especially on tariff order and contract management.
- Coordination with other organization regarding legal matters e.g. AAI, MoCA, DGCA, MoU etc
- Drafting and vetting of various legal document l.e. contract, tender, affidavit, guidelines etc.
- Handling and making arrangements for proceed ings of authority sitting/hearing in cosi-judicial matters
- Research on relevant development in legal arena related to regulatory/Aviation matters
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for the department for executive management meetings.
- Litigation management
- Review progress of outstanding litigation and liaise with and manage external lawyers .
- Identify local needs and develop efficient resource smart solutions including developing network of outside counsel and pro-bono relationships
- Preparing brief/summary on cases for authority/advocate
- Examination of reply, counter affidavit, misc application, SLP etc.
- Examination of Judgment/order and provide observations
- Coordination with Authority, Advocate/Law firm/Tribunal/Court etc
- Policy development
- Review and advise management on legal implications of internal policies and procedures.
- Review and draft contracts, agreements and internal policies and ensure that they are in compliance with all statutory or legal requirements.
- Contract Management
- Review all contracts or any other documentation and assess legal implications that need to be brought to the senior management's attention.
- Prepare, review and modify contractual instruments to assist and support various activities.
- As needed, provide guidance on contract matters to administration
