Job Summary:
The Soft Skills Trainer plays a crucial role in the Career Services department by empowering students to develop critical communication and interpersonal skills essential for career success. This role requires a passionate and articulate individual to design and deliver engaging training programs that equip students with the confidence to excel in interviews, networking events, and professional settings.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver interactive workshops and training sessions on various soft skills, including communication, teamwork, problem-solving, critical thinking, and time management.
- Utilize engaging teaching methods to create a dynamic learning environment for students.
- Facilitate group discussions and role-playing exercises to provide students with opportunities to practice and refine their soft skills.
- Provide personalized feedback and coaching to students to help them build confidence and achieve their career goals.
- Collaborate with the Training & Placement Manager to develop and implement comprehensive career development programs.
- Stay updated on current trends and best practices in soft skills training.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communication, Education, Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in training delivery, public speaking, or a relevant field.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles.
- Passion for helping students develop their soft skills and achieve career success.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and presentation software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in developing and delivering soft skills training programs.
