Job Title : Training and Placement Manager
Experience : 3 to 4 years
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate recruiters from various industries, particularly those relevant to University's academic programs.
- Identify and secure internship and full-time job opportunities for students aligned with their academic interests and career aspirations.
- Organize and conduct industry-specific workshops, career fairs, and skill development programs for students.
- Develop and deliver training sessions to equip students with essential job search skills, including resume writing, interview preparation, and professional networking.
- Manage and maintain the University's online job portal, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information for both students and employers.
- Track student placement rates and identify areas for improvement in the Career Services program.
- Stay updated on industry trends and job market demands to adapt training programs and strategies accordingly.
- Liaise with academic departments to understand student skillsets and career goals.
- Build and maintain a positive image of University among potential employers.
Qualifications:
- Any degree will work
- Minimum of 3 - 4 years of experience in Training & Placement or a similar role within the education sector.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with corporate recruiters.
- Experience in developing and delivering training programs on career development and job search skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and applicant tracking systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working within the same industry as University's focus areas.
- Demonstrated success in exceeding student placement targets.
- Understanding of current industry trends and job market demands.
- Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
