Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Management:
- Lead and manage the contracts team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement contract management strategies to optimize efficiency and mitigate risks.
- Ensure the contracts department adheres to best practices and stays updated with industry trends.
Contract Drafting & Negotiation:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including but not limited to vendor agreements, client contracts, and service agreements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure contract terms align with company objectives and policies.
- Negotiate favorable terms and conditions to protect the company’s interests.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure all contracts comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with contractual agreements.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of industry-specific regulatory requirements.
Documentation & Record Keeping:
- Maintain organized and comprehensive contract records and documentation.
- Develop and implement standardized contract templates and procedures.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation of contract modifications and amendments.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with legal, finance, procurement, and other departments to ensure seamless contract execution and management.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for contract-related inquiries and issues.
- Provide training and support to internal teams on contract-related matters.
