Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Support Engineer to join our team. As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our customers, resolving complex technical issues, and ensuring timely resolution of customer complaints. You will work closely with our engineering team to identify and resolve product defects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and chat
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to our products and services
Analyze and diagnose technical problems, identifying root causes and implementing solutions
Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and resolve product defects
Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles
Participate in training and development programs to stay up-to-date with new technologies and products
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and customer satisfaction
Meet and exceed customer satisfaction and first-call resolution targets
Identify and escalate complex technical issues to senior engineers or management as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
2+ years of experience in technical support or a related field
Strong technical knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software applications
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
Strong customer service skills and ability to work with customers of varying technical expertise
Experience with ticketing systems, CRM software, and other technical support tools
Nice to Have:
Experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS or Azure
Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++
Experience with IT service management frameworks such as ITIL
Certification in technical support or a related field (e.g. CompTIA A+)
