Role Overview:
As a Business Development Executive (BDE) for School Partnerships, you will play a critical role in expanding our reach by signing up schools for innovative programs and solutions. You will work within an assigned territory to generate leads, meet with school decision-makers, and close sales. This role requires you to be a strategic thinker, capable of building lasting relationships with schools while ensuring seamless delivery of our offerings.
Company is also supported by Govt. of India (Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, MEITY) for Technology in Education under Electropreneur Park( Funded by Deity, Govt of India) . We are also a part of Indian electronics and Semiconductor Association (IESA).
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with school decision-makers through existing contacts, cold calls, and other lead-generation activities within your territory, which may include multiple districts or an entire state.
- Present and demonstrate products and solutions to key stakeholders at schools.
- Close sales by securing agreements and collecting advance payments.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve enrollment, engagement, and renewal targets. - Provide exceptional customer experiences, fostering trust to encourage renewals and expansions.
- Maintain strong relationships with customer schools, coordinating with internal teams to ensure quality delivery throughout the academic year.
- Continuously seek ways to improve processes and ensure consistency across your territory.
- Prepare and document reports related to business development and inside sales activities.
- Drive revenue generation in your territory, aligning with company projections.
- Uphold brand and position as a global leader in K-12 educational solutions.
Qualifications:
- 1 year of overall experience, with 6+ months in a role involving interaction with K-12 school decision-makers preferred.
- Proven success in a high-visibility, customer-facing role.
- Experience working in a cross-functional environment.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to lead through influence.
- Passion for education and technology.
- Highly organized, self-driven, and detail-oriented.
- Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Data interpretation skills.
- Multi-language skills are a plus.
Education:
- MBA, PGDM, B. Tech, or equivalent technical graduates and postgraduates preferred.
