Job Description for Database Administrator:

We are looking for Database Administrator for one of our E-Governance Client.

Experience: Minimum 5 years‟ experience in IT/ software development / IT System projects / Website Development / Mobile Application Development with Minimum of 2 years‟ experience in same role (i.e. Database Admin).

Qualification: B.E. / B. Tech / MCA for all database admin 

Job Location: New Delhi

Responsibilities

• Installing and configuring various databases, security patches etc
• In creation of database design
• In updating and amending existing databases
• In setting up and testing new database and data handling systems
• In monitoring database health efficiency
• In developing complex query definitions that allow data to be extracted
• In gathering requirements of users and monitoring user access and security
• In performance and tuning of the database
• In installation and test new versions
• In maintaining data standards, including adherence to the Data protection Act
• In writing database documentation, including data standards, procedures and definitions for the data dictionary (metadata) control access permissions and privileges
• In development, manage and test back-up and recovery plans
• In storage and archiving procedures
• In creating Security plans and disaster recovery aspects of a database.
