Job Summary:

• Develop, implement, and maintain an effective data privacy and protection program in line with GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and other applicable data protection laws.
• Ensure the organization’s compliance with data privacy regulations by conducting regular audits, impact assessments, and risk assessments.
• Act as the primary point of contact with regulatory authorities and external parties on data protection matters.
• Provide expert advice and leadership on all aspects of data privacy, data security, and data governance.
• Collaborate with legal, compliance, IT, HR, and other departments to ensure company-wide data protection strategies.
• Respond to and mitigate data breaches by coordinating with relevant stakeholders to minimize risk and address vulnerabilities.
• Maintain and continuously update company policies on data retention, data transfer, and data subject rights.
• Conduct regular training and awareness programs for staff on data privacy regulations and best practices.
• Prepare and submit data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) when necessary.
• Stay updated on evolving data protection regulations, standards, and industry trends, advising the company on proactive measures.
