Role - Technical Support Specialist

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Technical Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional technical assistance and support to our clients and internal teams. You will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, assist with installations, and ensure that our systems are running smoothly. Your ability to communicate effectively and solve problems will be critical to our success.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat in a timely manner.
Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
Provide support for various operating systems, applications, and devices.
Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of software and hardware.
Document and track issues using a ticketing system.
Escalate complex issues to senior technical staff or other departments as necessary.
Conduct training sessions for users on new software or system updates.
Maintain knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies.
Collaborate with the IT team to improve processes and enhance user experience.
Ensure customer satisfaction by providing high-quality support and follow-up.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in a technical support role or similar position.
Strong understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.
Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Customer-focused with a passion for helping others.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of network protocols and configurations.
Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) are a plus.
